Number 3. Ruby Roman Grapes- $4,000
The most expensive grapes in the world are perfectly round, extra sweet and about the size of a pink pong ball.
Their taste is so good that people are willing to pay $4,000 for a bunch of them. These ones too come from Japan, the place where they were also auctioned.
Each grape was about the size of a Ping-Pong ball, and, since there were 25 in the bunch, cost about $255.
To be sold, the grapes must have a sugar content of around 18 percent and weigh 20 grams each.
Otherwise they will not enter for auction, so there is so much work put into making the perfect grapes.
