The e-mail and Web security which provides cloud computing services for filtering e-mail spam and malware was another expensive acquisition made by Google and eventually became a complete Google subsidiary.
Postini, a company that was launched in 1999, was purchased by Google in 2007. Before Google, the company made a sizable name for itself by being used by millions of people for their businesses around the world.
