At the time of the auction in 2004 it was the 3rd most expensive guitar ever sold, with a price tag of $847,500.
As we have grown accustomed it was sold by Cristie’s.
Out of the first 5 guitars we have seen in this top so far three of them were owned and used by Clapton which proves just how strong his brand value is.
