4 Steward’s Pocket Watch – $154,000
Owned by Edmund Stone, the first class steward who was also the owner of the master keys to the first class cabin, the pocket watch is a unique item.
The watch is a unique piece because the hands on the watch stopped at exactly 2:16, meaning that was also the same moment when Stone was sent into the icy Atlantic. And perhaps few seconds back the Titanic hit the iceberg and sank.
In 2008 it was sold at auction for $154,000. And back then broke the record price for Titanic memorabilia to be sold.
As you may notice now, the Steward’s pocket watch is ranked 4th on the most expensive items of Titanic memorabilia, and that means times change.
