5.EuroTrip – $4 Million
I bet you smiled a little bit when you saw this title!
God, I loved this movie when I was a teenager! I remember clearly how I got together with a bunch of friends and we watched this hilarious movie, aching for such an adventure for ourselves, too.
If you’re in your mid-twenties, then you definitely remember the 2004 teen comedy adventure movie, EuroTrip, starring Scott Mechlowicz, Jacob Pitts, Michelle Trachtenberg, Travis Wester, and Jessica Boehrs.
The script for this one was sold by no less than 4 million dollars! Who would’ve thought that? Well, the writers Jeff Schaffer, Alec Berg and David Mandel nailed it pretty good!
At least them because the movie wasn’t a success at all. With an original budget of 25 million dollars, EuroTrip only managed to earn 20 million dollars. I’m really sorry to hear that!
