Shall we start with the most expensive superhero film props?

10) Spider-Man Costumes – $35,000

Spider-Man is a fictional character, a comic book superhero from Marvel Comics. It was created by the writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko.

His first appearance was in Amazing Fantasy #15 on August 1962. The creators gave Spider-Man super strength and ability to cling to the most surfaces, shoot spider-webs, things that only someone who was bitten by a radioactive spider could do.

And since then, his popularity only grew. And it grew that much that people would pay anything to have something original from the Spider-Man movies.

In August 2008, at a Profiles in History sale, some costumes from Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 have sold for $35,000.

They received for that amount a Chinese burgundy satin dress with a pink silk scarp that was worn by Mary Jane played by Kristen Dunst in the Spider-Man 2.

Plus, it also included the face mask worn and a wrestling costume worn by Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man.
