The most expensive women’s watch in the world is the Graff Hallucination, which the jeweller priced at $55 million when it unveiled it at Baselworld in March 2014. It carries more than 110 carats of fancy-colour diamonds. At the top, women’s watches are made-to-order jewellery that almost never reaches auction, so this list ranks the maker’s own stated prices, then the one result that is a real sale.

1. Graff Hallucination: $55 million
Graff unveiled the Hallucination at Baselworld in March 2014 and called it the most valuable watch ever created. It is a ladies’ watch with a pink face, covered in more than 110 carats of fancy-colour diamonds in pink, yellow, blue and brown. Laurence Graff used stones from his own collection, and the company said it took thousands of hours to make. Trade press noted it was unclear where it would end up or how well it keeps time.
How we valued it: the price Graff announced. No sale has been reported, so it is an asking price.
2. Graff Fascination: $40 million
The Fascination was shown at Baselworld in April 2015. Its centrepiece is a 38.13-carat D flawless pear-shaped diamond that detaches and can be worn as a ring or as part of a bracelet, and the dial can also come off. The watch carries about 153 carats of white diamonds in total. Business and trade outlets reported a valuation of $40 million, with one saying the company gave that number. A 2024 ranking quoted $50 million without explanation, so we use the launch figure.
How we valued it: the reported launch valuation. No sale has been reported.
3. Chopard Happy Diamond: about $1.67 million at auction
Christie’s Geneva reportedly sold this unique Chopard Happy Diamond wristwatch in November 2015 for CHF 1,685,000, about $1.67 million; the lot page confirms the watch and stones but we could not reopen the price. It has a quartz movement and carries a pink marquise-cut diamond of about 2.62 carats and a blue one of about 1.48 carats.
How we valued it: the auction price with buyer’s premium. It is the only real sale on this list. We found no ladies’ diamond watch result above it at the major houses in 2025 or 2026; recent ladies’ results were in the tens of thousands of dollars.
Showpieces we did not rank
Two more names appear in expensive-watch lists. Chopard’s 201-carat watch, covered in 874 diamonds in yellow, blue, white and pink, is usually quoted at $25 million, though one source gives $29.5 million, so we treat it as an uncertain reported value. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Joaillerie 101 Manchette is a diamond cuff built around the tiny Calibre 101 movement from 1929, but we found no price we could trust.
What drives these prices
- Stone weight. Prices follow carats, not movements.
- Rare colours. Pink and blue stones add the most.
- One-offs. Many are single pieces priced by the maker.
- Quartz movements. Several of the priciest are quartz, so the diamonds carry the value.
