#7 Mussolini’s Order of Courage Medal: $123,000

Next is an Order of Courage military medal which belonged to Mussolini. The medal was in his possessions when he was dismissed by his administrations and subsequently arrested in 1943.

Somehow the medal managed to survive the harsh war and surfaced. It was sold at an auction organized by La Galerie Numismatique in March, 2012 for $123,000.

It is known that the items which belonged to the Italian dictator are quite expensive and sought by the collectors from all over the world.

For example there it was Mussolini’s suitcase, which contained his military uniform and a dress which belonged to his mistress Claterra Petacci sold for $6,325 by Heritage Auctions in September 2011.
