#6 Hitler’s ‘Night Guard’ Luger Pistol: $161,000
It is no secret for anyone that Hitler was a bad man and of course had a lot of enemies.
Because of that he was always ready to defend himself and do whatever it takes to guarantee his safety.
That was the main reason he acquired Luger pistols for his “Night Guards”. Their pistols were loaded with tracer bullets and fitted with flashlights to keep him save at night.
One of those pistols survived and surfaced in April 2012 at a Rock Island auction for $160,000.
Because of that, Hitler’s ‘Night Guard’ Luger Pistol was ranked #6 on our top of the most expensive World War II items.
