Most Expensive World War II Items

#3 Hitler’s Ceremonial Brass Writing Desk: $422,000

The exactly same desk on which Adolf Hitler singed the Munich Pact was sold for $422,000.

The Munich Pact signed by Hitler was the agreement that would lead to World War II.

The desk has engraved Hitler’s initials AH and it’s filled with an inkwell and adorned with the Nazi’s crest of an Eagle and Swastika.

It was confiscated by 2nd Lieutenant Jack McConn in 1945 and the piece of furniture soon surfaced at an auction by Alexander Autographs in December, 2011 for a whopping price.
