The most luxurious cruise cabin at sea is the 4,443-square-foot Regent Suite on Seven Seas Splendor, priced at about $11,000 a night when the ship was announced. Behind it come the penthouses and owner’s suites of Crystal, Oceania, Norwegian and Uniworld. Prices below are the last ones reported, so treat them as a guide and ask the line for today’s fare.
| Rank | Suite | Ship | Key fact |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Regent Suite | Seven Seas Splendor (Regent) | 4,443 sq ft, about $11,000 a night (2019 report) |
| 2 | Crystal Penthouse | Crystal Serenity | L-shaped, can be split in two; fares on request |
| 3 | Owner’s Suite | Oceania Marina | Ralph Lauren Home bedding in the line’s top suites |
| 4 | Haven suites | Norwegian Epic and others | Private restaurant, courtyard and sundeck |
| 5 | Themed river suites | S.S. Antoinette (Uniworld) | Savoir beds and silk-lined walls |
Choosing a cabin is half fun and half puzzle, and finding the most luxurious one is harder still, because the biggest suites rarely list a price. Here is how the top five stack up in 2026, with a few corrections to our earlier list.
1. Regent Suite, Seven Seas Splendor
The Regent Suite measures 4,443 square feet (413 square meters), including more than 3,000 square feet of interior space and a 1,300 square foot wraparound veranda with 270-degree bow views. It has a custom Hastens Vividus bed valued at $200,000, an in-suite spa with a steam room and sauna, a plunge pool on the balcony and a glass-enclosed solarium above the bridge. The reported rate was $11,000 a night for two guests, all-inclusive, including first-class domestic air, a butler and a personal car with a driver and guide in every port. That figure comes from a 2019 announcement, before the ship entered service, so ask Regent for today’s fare.
2. Crystal Penthouse, Crystal Serenity
Crystal Serenity was built in 2003 at Chantiers de l’Atlantique in St. Nazaire and refitted in Bremerhaven in 2018. The company behind it went through insolvency in 2022, and A&K Travel Group bought the Crystal brand and two ships, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, to restart operations in 2023. The penthouse suites were known for a huge L-shaped layout that could be split into two by a curtain. Butlers serve course-by-course meals, and the ship’s restaurants have included Nobu and Prego menus. Those partnerships have changed under new ownership, so check which are on board.
3. Owner’s Suite, Oceania Marina
Marina was built at Fincantieri’s Sestri Ponente yard in Italy, designed by Yran & Storbraaten, and named in Miami on 5 February 2011. She carries 1,250 guests at double occupancy and measures 66,084 gross tons. The top suites were reported to use Ralph Lauren Home bedding and furniture, with butler service. Rates are on request.
4. Haven suites, Norwegian Epic and its sisters
Norwegian Epic was the first ship to carry The Haven, the line’s private enclave with its own restaurant, courtyard pool and an adults-only sundeck with daybeds and a hot tub. The larger Haven suites suit families and groups who want a small-ship feeling with big-ship entertainment. We could not confirm the butler details on the current official page, so ask the line.
5. Themed river suites, S.S. Antoinette
Uniworld’s S.S. Antoinette brought a theatrical look to river cruising, with themed suites that share Savoir beds, silk-lined walls and original artwork, and a balcony that can be converted into an indoor conservatory with the flick of a switch. Uniworld is a luxury river cruise line headquartered in Los Angeles that sails Europe, Egypt, India, Peru and Southeast Asia. Check current availability and prices before you plan.
What happened to Seabourn’s Wintergarden Suite?
We removed the Seabourn Odyssey from this list. The ship left Seabourn in September 2024 and was sold to Mitsui OSK Lines, which renamed it Mitsui Ocean Fuji in December 2024 and now operates it from Japan.

How we put this list together
We ranked by size, facilities, service and the price where a price was published, using the cruise lines’ own announcements and ship records, rechecked in October 2026. Where no price is public, we say rates are on request.
