If you want to visit Dubai for sure one of the main attractions is The Burj Al Arab Hotel which is also one of the most expensive 7-star hotel in the world, mostly because there aren’t that many!
Not only is it situated on an artificial island but in time has grown to be regarded as symbol of luxury and an emblem of Dubai itself.
Looks good right? For me this hotel is a must visit. When the British architect Tom Wright designed this building, he knew what he was going for.
It has become a landmark for Dubai as The Eiffel Tower for Paris or The Colosseum for Rome. The Tower of Arabs ( Burj Al Arab) construction started in 1994 and was finished in 1999 with a pricetag of around $1.5 billion.
One of the amazing things about The Burj Al Arab is the circular tennis court located on the helipad. In 2005 the Burj Al Arab staff invited Andre Agassi and Roger Federer to play some rounds up there, giving birth to one of the most iconic images showcasing Arab wealth.
