Grace Patricia Kelly was an American film actress and the Princess of Monaco. She was also the wife of Prince Rainier III.
At the age of 20, she appeared in New York City theatrical productions, but it was her performance in ‘Mogambo’ that made her a movie star, winning a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination.
On September 13, 1982, Grace Kelly suffered a stroke, causing her death. And she had one memorable funeral.
Besides, a year after her death, was released an American film based on her early life as a princess.
Also Prince Rainier opened in 1984 a rose garden dedicated to her memory, located in Monaco’s Fontvieille district.
