Christopher George Latore Wallace, better known by his stage names Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie, was an American rapper, becoming a figure in the East Coast hip hop scene after releasing his debut album ‘Ready to Die’ in 1994.
When Biggie died, the grief was installed in everyone’s hearts. On March 9, 1997, Notorious B.I.G. was killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles.
His murder remains unsolved. Still, thousands of people filled the streets of Brooklyn on the day of his funeral.
Queen Latifah, Mary J, Blife, Run-DMC, Busta Rhymes, Flava Dlav were some of the celebrities who attended his funeral.
