At the age of 82, Frank Sinatra died of a heart attack on May 14, 1998.
With his wife by his side, he died at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
The funeral was held in Beverly Hills, California, at the Roman Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd, on May 20, 1998.
With thousands of people in attendance, Frank Sinatra was buried with mementos, like cherry-flavored Life Savers, Tootsie Rolls, a bottle of Jack Daniel’s, a Zippo lighter, stuffed toys, a dog biscuit and a pack of Camel cigarettes.
He rests next to his parent in section B-8 of Desert Memorial Park, located in Cathedral City, California, and next to his close friends Jilly Rizzo and Jimmy Van Heusen.
‘The Best Is Yet to Come’ are imprinted on his grave marker.
