2.Mary Barra – CEO at General Motors
She is one unique lady that goes straight into history.
Mary Barra is 52 years old and since January this year has been the CEO of General Motors, an American multinational corporation that designs, markets, manufactures and distributes vehicles and vehicle parts.
She was named to succed Dan Akerson as Chief Executive Officer and was actually the first female CEO in the auto industry.
Her success was immediately recognized worlwide and only three month later, in April 2014, she appeared on the cover of Time’s “100 Most Influential People in the World”.
So, women know not only business, but cars too!
