2.Fundacion Padre Hurtado: Beaten, Drunk, Prostitute
Fundacion Padre Hurtado, with the help of Prolam Y&R – an advertising agency in Chile, created this touching campaign in order to raise funds for children in need.
The images illustrated by Gonzalo Arevalo feature children trapped in anthropomorphic cages, showing them in horrifying social situations.
They wanted to show to the public the dark situations in which any child could end. They tried to make people understand that in every victim is a person who once was an innocent child and nobody stood up for him or her.
This campaign was so powerful because they managed to get to the people. They made the reader to walk in the child’s shoes for a second and take action with this inspirational slogan:
“You’re the key”
As you all know, ignorance is bliss, but a little bit of attention can save a life! Make a change!
