Most Strangest Restaurants in the World

Ever had dinner on one of the most strangest restaurants in the world? I haven’t, but I wish I would.

What’s the first thing that comes into your mind when you have to choose in which restaurant should you go. First of all, the type of food that they serve there, and most important, the aspect of the restaurant.

Check out our top list of the most strangest restaurants in the world.

#5 Ithaa Restaurant, the Maldives

This undersea restaurant is located 5 meters below the sea level at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. “Ithaa’ means mother-of-pearl in Dhivehi. Designed by M.J. Murphy Ltd., this restaurant opened on April 15, 2005 and the food served here is contemporany European with Asian influences. Although this is a strange looking restaurant, we find it quite romantic to sit and have dinner while fishes and other sea living things are swimming next to you. Plus, the restaurant gives you 180-degrees of panoramic views.

#4 ‘s Baggers Restaurant, Germany

I find this restaurant quite amazing. ‘s Baggers is located nearby Nuremberg and the best part is that you order your food on a touchscreen and it is delivered to your table automatically, thanks to those metal rails. You can find these type of restaurants in Dubai, Dresden and Hamburg. There are no waiters on ‘s Baggers, you have a wide variety of food. ‘s Baggers is also known as an automated restaurant.

#2 Dinner in the sky, Belgium

I had a hard time choosing between this and our #1. I don’t think I’ll have what it takes to eat dinner way up there. It’s too high. How high?  The 15-feet high restaurant can be driven anywhere in the world. The Belgian organiser, David Ghysels declared : ‘It’s a little surreal, but we realised people were getting bored with just going to the same old restaurants. They wanted to try something different. So we decided to push the boundaries. The sky’s the limit!’

#1 Eternity Restaurant, Ukraine

This is our #1 on the world’s most strangest restaurants. I mean, who would dine here? But, if you love macabre things (weirdo!), then this place is for you. Who had such crazy idea to build a coffin restaurant? That will be the director Stepan Pyrianyk, who is certain that this restaurant will bring tourists to Truskavets.
So the restaurant is basically a coffin, and is the world’s largest coffin by Guiness World Records. The restaurant made out of pine is 20 meters long, 6 meters wide and 6 meters high. The menu includes dishes with morbid, strange names, such as ‘Let’s meet in Paradise’ or ‘Forty Day Salad’.
