Birdman is an American rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, executive producer, and investor and his current net worth is $110 million.
Born in New Orleans, to his mother Ms. Gladys and his father, a Ford Heights veteran, he has seen his both parents die at two years old respectively five years old.
Growing up, he became homeless after spending his childhood in boys’ home.
He spent his teenage years in the notorious crime-ridden neighborhoods. While living there he started committing robberies and selling drugs. At 16, the police finally caught and arrested him.
After which police arrested him again for drug possession and had to do 3 to 5 years in Cook County Correctional Center.
Before charges dropped, he served 22 months.
At 28, since 2002, he started the duo Big Tymers, along with producer and DJ Mannie Fresh.

In 2005, Birdman’s partner left the group and resigned from Ca$h Money. Later on he changed his name from Baby to Birdman.
A while after, he along with Lil Wayne released an album, Like Father, Like Son, which earned gold certificates and had two singles.
Birdman released his fourth studio album, as well as featured on some of the remixes of high selling rap singles by Jim Jones and Fat Joe.
The first single from the album, featuring Lil Wayne, became a hit as well as the second single featuring Young Jeezy, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne.
Birdman refers to Lil Wayne as his son, not biologically, but emotionally, because he became a father figure to Wayne since he was a child.
