How much is Jordan Spieth worth in 2026?

Our figure is $130 million, and it is an estimate: the prize money is public, but no sponsor publishes what it pays him. So the biggest row below is an assumption, anchored on one published estimate for 2015, and that one row is why our range runs from $90 million to $180 million.

Public estimates differ because they add prize money to a rough endorsement number, and few say what they took off for tax, agents and caddies. A career prize figure from 2022 also misses every season since.

How Jordan Spieth built it

  • Signed long before the peak. He took a 10-year Under Armour extension with equity three months before his 2015 Masters win.
  • Won big in one season. He won $12 million in official money in 2015, then a $10 million FedExCup bonus.
  • Bought a discounted house. He paid $7.1 million for a Dallas home first listed at $9.5 million.

How we got to $130 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
PGA Tour prize money, kept $36.7 million His career table shows $60,009,379 through the 2023 season, up from the $50.6 million Front Office Sports reported in April 2022. We assume $5 million a year for 2024 and 2025, about his $5.02 million of 2022, and add $3,292,574 for 2026: $73.3 million. We assume he keeps 50 percent after tax, caddie, agent and travel.
2015 FedExCup bonus, kept $5 million The $10 million bonus for winning the 2015 playoffs, kept at the same 50 percent.
Endorsements, kept $120 million Our assumption: $20 million a year for the 12 years from 2015 to 2026, or $240 million, kept at 50 percent. The anchor is Golf Digest’s roughly $30 million from endorsements and appearances in 2015. We go lower because his record lists no win in 2025 or 2026, and sponsors pay for winners.
Under Armour equity and Leeds United stake $0 Both exist and neither has a public size, so we count nothing.
Spending Minus $35 million Our assumption: $2.5 million a year for 14 professional seasons, covering homes, family and a touring life. The houses below are bought from the kept money, so they are not added on top.
Total About $126.7 million, rounded to $130 million Prize money is mostly documented. The endorsement row is mostly assumption.

2015 paid 6.7 times what 2026 did

In 2015 he won about $12.03 million in official money, a single-season record according to his career record, and then took the $10 million bonus. People Newspapers reported at the time that he had made more than $22 million from golf that year.

Now 2026. His ESPN results page lists 23 events, and the amounts add up to the same $3,292,574 the tour shows. The biggest cheque was $493,000 for a tie for 11th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He tied for 12th at the Masters for $427,500. NBC Sports noted in August that he reached the playoffs for a 14th straight year without a top 10 in 21 tournaments that season.

By our calculation that is $143,155 per start, and $22.03 million against $3.29 million means 2015 paid 6.7 times as much on the course. Set the 2026 money beside our $20 million endorsement assumption and sponsors pay about six times what the golf does. Of the $161.7 million he has kept before spending, $120 million, or 74 percent, is endorsement money. That is the real shape of this fortune, and it is also the risk in it.

The Under Armour contract signed three months early

Under Armour signed him in January 2013. According to Fox Business, it gave him a 10-year extension with an equity stake in January 2015, about three months before his Masters win. The same report cites Apex Marketing Analytics putting that win’s advertising value to Under Armour at more than $30 million. One week of golf, in other words, was worth about as much to one sponsor as Golf Digest thought he made from all endorsements and appearances that year.

Ten years from January 2015 runs to about January 2025 by our count, and we found no public terms for what followed. Other names on his sponsor list in past reporting include Titleist, Rolex, NetJets and AT&T, with Coca-Cola added in 2016.

Two Dallas houses and a sliver of Leeds

He paid a little under $2.3 million for a house, reported in March 2015. A later home, also in Preston Hollow, was a 16,665 square foot place bought from fellow pro Hunter Mahan for $7.1 million, with the original asking price at $9.5 million. Our sum puts that 25 percent below the first ask. He moved in during July 2016.

In July 2023 he said he and Justin Thomas had taken what he called a very minority stake in Leeds United through the 49ers Enterprises group. No price was published, so the stake sits at zero in our table.

What would move the figure

A win would, because sponsors pay for those. So would a disclosed value for the Under Armour equity, or word of what that contract became after its 10-year term. The downside case is another season like 2026 as older deals come up for renewal.
