Kaka is a Brazilian professional footballer and his current net worth is $120 million.
Born in Gama, Brazil as the son of Bosco Izecson Pereira Leite, a civil engineer, and Simone dos Santos, an elementary school teacher, he has a younger brother Rodrigo.
Thanks to his financial security he focused on school and football at the same time.
He got his nickname Caca, from his brother because of his inability to pronounce Ricardo and eventually evolved into Kaka.
At 7 years old, his family moved to São Paulo where he attended to school. There the school arranged him to go in a local youth club called Alphaville. The team qualified to the final in a local tournament.
While there the hometown club São Paulo FC discovered and offered him a place in the youth academy.
He almost didn’t become a footballer thanks to a spinal fracture as a result of a swimming pool accident, but made a full recovery.
At 15 he signed his contract and led the São Paulo youth squad to Copa de Juvenil glory.
In 2001 he made his senior side debut and scored 12 goals in 27 appearances. The following season he scored 10 goals in 22 games and by then he has already caught the eye of European clubs.
In 2003 he signed his contract with European champions, Italian club A.C. Milan for a fee of €8.5 million.
In 2007 he won the Champions League titled when Milan defeated Liverpool, avenging the previous loss on penalties two years before.
After his success with Milan, Kaká joined Real Madrid for a transfer fee of €65 million.
Upon four seasons in Spain, he returned to Milan for a season in 2013, scoring his 100th goal for the club.
In 2004 he became the youngest ambassador of the UN World Food Programme.
Kaká is currently the highest paid player in the MLS, a $6.6 million base salary.
