How much is Larry Fitzgerald worth in 2026?

We estimate $100 million, in a range of $75 million to $125 million. Salary is the one well-documented input, about $180.3 million between 2004 and 2020 according to Pro Football Network, which also lists a lower Spotrac cash total of $171 million. Everything he did with that money after tax is private, so most of the rest of the ledger is our assumption.

How Larry Fitzgerald built it

  • Invested early and widely. He has made about 200 investments through Larry Fitzgerald Enterprises.
  • Bought into his home team. He took a minority Phoenix Suns stake in January 2020 and kept it through the 2023 sale.
  • Moved from angel to fund. Trenches Capital's fund aimed for $25 million and closed at $28 million.

How we got to $100 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
NFL pay after tax and agent fees $94 million About $180.3 million in salary. Our assumption: 48 percent went to federal and state tax and agent fees, leaving 52 percent.
Living costs, homes and giving minus $44 million Our assumption: $2 million a year for 22 years, 2004 to 2026. This leaves about $50 million to invest.
Investment gains, including the Suns $31 million Our assumption: $50 million compounding at 5 percent for 10 years, net of losers. About 200 private bets make any better guess impossible.
Paradise Valley house gain $11 million Reported: bought just over $3 million in 2015, sold $18 million in November 2020. A $15 million gain, less our assumed 28 percent tax.
Endorsements, board and TV pay $8 million Reported $10 million in endorsements, an assumed $1.5 million in board pay since 2020 (the latest filed year was $300,180) and an assumed $4 million from ESPN, where he began as an analyst in September 2022, at 52 percent after tax.
Total $100 million Rows add up to the headline.

$126,000 a catch

Our calculation: $180.3 million divided by the 1,432 catches Black Enterprise cited comes to about $126,000 per reception. Divided by 17,492 yards, it’s about $10,300 per yard. Use the lower $171 million total and each catch falls to about $119,000. The biggest contract was the eight-year, $120 million extension reported in 2011, with about $47 million guaranteed.

Public estimates we saw run from about $75 million to over $130 million, largely because they differ on how much of that gross pay survived. Some subtract little, as if a salary arrived without a tax bill. On our 52 percent assumption, $180.3 million becomes about $94 million before he has paid for anything.

The Suns stake nobody has priced

ESPN reported in January 2020 that he had bought a minority stake in the Phoenix Suns, without saying how much or for what. He kept that stake when Mat and Justin Ishbia took over in February 2023 at a reported $4 billion. The team was put at $5.09 billion on Sportico’s list published in October 2025, the latest value we opened.

So here is the only sum we can do. Each 0.1 percent of the team would be worth about $5.1 million at that 2025 value, against $4 million at the 2023 sale price, a rise of 27 percent. We don’t know his percentage, so the stake sits inside the investment gains row and gets no row of its own.

200 investments and someone else’s $28 million

Fortune reported in September 2025 that he has made about 200 investments through Larry Fitzgerald Enterprises, from cybersecurity to restaurants, including Chess.com. His interest started with an off-season internship at JP Morgan in 2011.

A Harvard Business School case published in March 2026 says his venture firm, Trenches Capital, aimed for a $25 million fund and closed oversubscribed at $28 million. Most of that is presumably investors’ money, so we leave it out of his total. If the firm charged a 2 percent fee, an assumption on our part, it would bring in $560,000 a year to be shared across the whole firm.

The board seat is the best-documented income he still has. The 2026 proxy statement at Dick’s Sporting Goods shows $300,180 in fiscal 2025: $120,000 in cash fees and $180,180 in stock, valued at $184.80 a share on the June 2025 grant date. He has been a director since 2020.

The odd one: an $18 million house

Arizona Sports reported in January 2021 that he sold a 13,929-square-foot Paradise Valley home for $18 million in November 2020, having paid just over $3 million in 2015. The report rests on a Realtor.com story and we treat it as a single-source figure. It’s still a larger gain than his 2020 salary, which Pro Football Network lists at $11.7 million.

What would move the number

A sale of the Suns at a new price, a return from Trenches Capital’s first fund, or one of those 200 companies going public. The 2026 milestones, Hall of Fame enshrinement on August 8 and a planned retirement of his No. 11, carry no disclosed money.
