How much is Ryan Trahan Worth? Ryan Trahan Net Worth in 2026
Ryan Trahan’s net worth is estimated at $15 million as of November 2026. The largest sum attached to his name, $11.65 million, was never his: viewers sent it to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during his 50 States in 50 Days series. His own money comes from video ads, sponsors and a piece of a candy company.

How much is Ryan Trahan worth in 2026?
We land on $15 million, in a range of $8 million to $30 million. This one is a rough estimate: little of the money is documented. His ad income, sponsor fees and ownership share in Joyride have not been published, so every large row below is our assumption, with its reasoning shown.
Public estimates differ widely. Those built from channel statistics tend to ignore tax and production costs, and none can see inside a private candy company. Even vidIQ says his exact net worth can’t be worked out from public channel data.
How Ryan Trahan built it
- Turned stunts into fundraisers. Three series raised about $13.43 million from viewers for Feeding America, Water.org and St. Jude.
- Took equity in a candy brand. He became co-owner and chief creative officer of Joyride in 2024.
- Set goals, then blew past them. The St. Jude series aimed for $1 million and passed $11.65 million by January 2026.

| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube ads | $9.9 million | 6.6 billion views as of October 2026 at an assumed $1.50 per 1,000 after YouTube’s cut. We picked a low rate because older views and Shorts tend to pay less. |
| Sponsorships | $7.5 million | Assumption: $1.5 million a year for five years, 2022 to 2026, or about 8 video deals a year at about $190,000. Shopify sponsored his videos in 2025, and one benchmark puts a single Instagram post at $40,000 to $93,000. A long video slot should cost more. |
| Tax and production costs | minus $8.7 million | Assumption: 50 percent of the $17.4 million above. Travel, crew and editing come out of this before income tax does. |
| Living costs | minus $1 million | Assumption: $200,000 a year for those five years. |
| Joyride stake | $7.5 million | Assumption: 10 percent of an assumed $150 million value, halved because it can’t be sold easily. A June 2025 report cited a Form D for a $30 million raise, but no price or stake was disclosed. That is the latest dated marker we could open. |
| Total | $15 million | The rows sum to $15.2 million, which we round. |
Viewers gave away almost as much as he has
Three series explain his reputation. The 2022 Penny Challenge set out to raise $100,000 for Feeding America and reached $1.38 million. The 2023 sequel raised over $400,000 for Water.org. Then came St. Jude in summer 2025: a $1 million goal, and over $11.65 million as of January 2026.
Added up, that is $13.43 million. By our calculation it equals about 90 percent of what we think he is worth, with the St. Jude run alone beating its goal 11.65 times over. (One trade report gives $1.8 million for the 2022 run. We use the lower figure.) None of this is income. Any page that counts it as earnings is counting someone else’s donations.
The NCAA ruling and the candy aisle
In 2017 the NCAA ruled him ineligible to run cross-country for Texas A&M because his YouTube channel advertised his own company while he competed. He later left the university. Seven years later he had a bigger company to advertise.
Joyride grew out of Project 7, a gum brand Tyler Merrick launched in 2008, and took its current name in 2022. Trahan became co-owner and chief creative officer in 2024. The product reached 1,200 Target stores on June 15, 2024, starting on a bottom-shelf trial, and the following June it collected a Guinness record for 1,733 photos of people holding candy in an hour. By June 2026 a trade newsletter counted 20,000 retail doors and, citing Nielsen data, the top non-chocolate candy spot at Target. In April 2026 it added three new candies at $4.99 each, promoted with a short film called Project Squircle on his channel.
Here is the awkward part of our math. Joyride is $7.5 million of a $15.2 million total, 49 percent by our calculation, and nobody outside the company has published his share. The June 2025 report projected revenue above $100 million by the end of 2026, and that was a guess too. Our $150 million value is about 1.5 times that guess, and we would drop it fast on a weak sales report.
We count only his side of the household. His wife, Haley Pham, joined him on the St. Jude series, and none of her income is included.
The next number that matters
A priced funding round or sale of Joyride would settle most of the argument. If his stake is 20 percent and not 10, the ledger rises by $7.5 million to about $23 million. If the stake is 5 percent, it falls to about $11 million.
