5. Broken Bay of Nusa Penida
After Nusa Lembongan, here is one of its sister islands, Nusa Penida. Also one of the most popular getaway destinations in Bali, Nusa Penida offers pure, untouched beauty of nature.
The Broken Bay is literally created from a broken cliff. It all happened naturally. One part of the high cliff shore along the beach collapsed down and created a majestic caldera. Even just a selfie from the top of the cliff is worth hundreds of likes on Instagram!
There is a canal connecting it to the clear blue ocean. It is considered dangerous, but if your captain approves, you can get your boat through the canal and enjoy the luxurious sunshine from inside the caldera like no one else can.
This part of Nusa Penida is not too far from the harbor. Trekking is an option, although the path is quite challenging. Renting a boat for a tour around the shore would be the best option. Unless you have already booked yourself a luxurious yacht.
