Redesigned in 1970, Plymouth’s Barracuda is known as Cuda, and with 5 different engine options available, they were quite awesome.
The Cuda’s engine ranged from 340 to 440 cubic inches, the most sold being the 426 cubic inch Hemi. This engine option was only available in 1970 and 1971, the rares models of Hemi Cudas being the Hemi Cuda Convertible. With only 21 cars produced, they are one of the rarest American muscle cars ever.
This was because the engine upgrade costed $871, while the 440+6 cubic inch model was only $250 more than the base model.
