1. It is only for very very very important people
Let’s face the fact now, private jet is not for everyone. Being able to afford one doesn’t mean you should have one. A private jet owner should meet the following requirements:
- Can afford to lose money (to pay for taxes, insurance, license, maintenance, and parking fee);
- Flying regularly at least twice a week (not just from one city to another, but possibly intercontinental trips);
- Working on unexpected schedule (regular flight schedules may not fit into his traveling schedule);
- Willing to deal with permits, licenses, and registrations (not just paying them, but also taking care of them);
- Always surrounded by people because he is important (hence the need of space as he travels);
- Cannot be seen alone, unguarded at airports because he is so popular (he will be attacked by a horde of fans or haters);
- Famous enough for people willing to buy anything from him.
So, do you meet any of the above criteria? Do you still want to buy a private jet? Let’s share your thoughts on the comment section below.
