We begin our top list with the 49-year-old bassist Krist Novoselic.
Best known as the co-founder of the grunge band Nirvana, the American rock musician has a net worth of $40 million.
In 1995, a year after the band ended due to Kurt Cobain’s death, Krist Novoselic formed Sweet 75, and later, Eyes Adrift.
After releasing 1 album with each band, the bassist went to play from 2006 to 2009 in a punk band called Flipper.
Outside of music, Krist Novoselic has been active in several political causes, founding JAMPAC (Joint Artists and Musicians Political Action Committee).
Since 2008, he has served as board chair of the electoral reform organization FairVote.
