By now the french Ligue 1 football division gives us the second billionaire, but now we are talking about a native who is considered by the Forbes Magazine a 15 billion worth man.
Born in Rennes in 1962, François-Henri Pinault is the chief executive officer of Kering. This particular firm which his father owns is known to be the developer who ensembles luxury and Sport & Lifestyle brands like Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent and others.
The billionaire is another team owner who doesn’t flash his money in the football industry, Stade Rennais having to deal with the middle-end of the ranking in Ligue 1, finishing on the 12th place.
His father bought the team in 2000 from the municipality and the retail magnate invested some money into it, by the year 2001 leaving the club to be managed by his son François-Henry Pinault.
