The richest people in Indonesia, for the 5th year in a row, are brothers R. Budi and Michael Hartono.
Their biggest holding is in Indonesia’s largest private bank, Bank Central Asia, with over 20.000 employees.
The brothers also own Djarum, a kretek maker, and have a stake in Sarana Menara Nusantara, a telecom outfit.
R. Budi’s youngest son, Armand, has been a director since 2009, while his other son, Martin, invests in Internet outfits.
