The Chirathivat family are listed for the first time as the richest people in Thailand, thanks to their 27% growth in Central Group‘s revenues to $7 billion in 2013. Central Group is the country’s largest retailer, and was founded by Tos Chirathivat’s grandfather.
The family owns numerous mega-sized department stores across Thailand, the Centara Hotel brand, and the Italian department store chain, La Rinascente.
