Toto Wolff is probably the happiest man in Formula 1 today. Why wouldn’t he be? The team he manages, Mercedes AMG Petronas, has just won its third consecutive World Constructors’ Championship title. And his drivers finished as top two on World Drivers’ Championship title fight.
Toto was a race car driver himself. He competed in Austrian Formula Ford Championship, German Formula Ford Series, and GT Championship. But since his younger age, he has been an investor.
He founded the Marchfifteen and Marchsixteen Investments. It specializes in strategic investments in medium-sized industrial and listed companies. Among them is the Williams F1 team. Toto himself became the shareholder of Williams F1 team before finally pitching in for his own team, Mercedes.
Toto owns 30% of Mercedes AMG Petronas shares. And he also plays his part as the Executive Director. Based on those facts, it should come as no surprise that he has an estimated net worth of £240 million (around $300 million).
