Rihanna’s New Secret Garden Campaign with Dior is looking awesome! As always she is stunning and gives the campaign a new light!
Everyone has been waiting for the release of Rihanna’s Dior campaign since the first time we first hear that she would be the new face of the French brand.
The gothic-inspired images feature 27-year-old Rihanna showcasing a number of Dior’s glamorous designs.

And finally that waiting has been rewarded. Rihanna is making waves and turning heads not only because this marks her first foray into high fashion but also because she is the first black woman to serve as the face of the brand.
The campaign has been captured on photography by Steven Klein. The photographs show the singer posing in ready-to-wear, gowns and accessories from Dior’s Esprit collection.
In this photo shoot Rihanna is wandering through the halls of the palace of Versailles in a twinkling gown, a luxurious red silk dress, a fur vest, the Diorama bag, and the Dior So Real mirrored sunglasses, which happen to pair perfectly with the hall of mirrors in the royal palace.
The Chateau de Versailles, the extravagant royal residence which is located just southwest of Paris, is the perfect location for Dior’s glamorous shoot. It was the home for three French kings including Louis XIII, Louis XIV, and Louis XV, up until the French revolution in 1789.
For example, one of the pictures features the singer posed topless in a strategically place cropped, fur vest and handbag. Another shows her running down through the Hall of Mirrors in a red ball gown.
Rihanna’s New Secret Garden campaign with Dior also features a short film shot by Inez and Vinoodh for the brand’s series.
The natural light is used to add emphasis on the metallic aspects of the creations, which include a sparkling sequined gown, metal-crafted earrings and the Diorama handbag with a metal closure.
“Secret Garden IV” is the fourth film in a mini-series directed by Steven Klein for the fashion house. It sees the Barbadian singer, dressed in various outfits from the label’s Fall 2015/2016 collection, dancing through the palace’s corridors and gardens after nightfall.
The accompanying music, “Only If for a Night” by Midas, will appear on the Barbadian pop star’s upcoming album, set for release this month.
I think Dior made a great choice when they asked Rihanna to be the face of the campaign. Don’t you agree?
