#3 Tower of Terror II – 115 meters
These guys know that it doesn’t matter how many twirls you get, the only important thing is the drop, so they made the ultimate drop machine!
Calling it Tower of Terror II is also a great name in terms of marketing and it’s pretty self explanatory!
Tower of Terror II was designed by Intamin and it is located on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, at the Dreamworld amusement park. The construction cost $16 million.
This roller coaster was opened on 23 January 1997 and was the first in the world which reached 160.9 km/h. Tower of Terror II is made from steel and it’s a shuttle roller coaster.
So yeah, they basically shoot you up the tower and then shoot you back down at a speed so fast your heart has difficulties beating, but it’s just for a short period of time so you’ll be safe!
