5. Audi R8
Halfway trough the list, and on the fifth position, we have a car built by the German manufacturer Audi.
The famous Audi R8 has a fundamental construction based on the Audi Space Frame, and uses an aluminium monocoque which is built using space frame principles.
The original R8 is powered by a 4.2 litre V8 engine which develops a total output of 414 bhp and generates 430 newton metres of torque.
The Fifth Gear television show named the R8 both the Best fast car and the Car of the Year 2007.
And it looks so good, that even Playboy magazine awarded it as Car of The Year for 2008.
With a luxurious look, and a beast under the bonnet, the Audi R8 is one of the best super cars on the market, and that’s not a surprise for anybody.
