1. Richard Mille’s Whirlpool (Price: $690,000) by Rafael Nadal
We have come to the most expensive one among other tennis watches in the world. It is also the most expensive tennis wear on court in general. It is Richard Mille’s special edition of the 2013’s number one tennis player, Rafael Nadal.
He wore this 20 grams watch on the last two tournaments he won, ATP 1000 Monte Carlo and ATP 500 Barcelona. Yes, the RM-27 02 Whirlpool Rafael Nadal is amazingly light. It is so light that it doesn’t impact Nadal’s play.
Someone is $690,000 richer when he (or she) stole Nadal’s watch in 2012. Well, Nadal was not very careful with it anyway. He almost lost another one at the same year. Good thing it was found by another tennis player.
When it was first launched in 2010, the watch was bundled with $525,000 price. When Nadal began wearing it in 2013, the price went up to $690,000. Now, it is available with more features and cost $775,000 (after tax: approximately $850,000).
