3. Microsoft has an enormous art collection

10. Bill Gates became a billionaire at the age of 31
He managed to do that at a very early age, and by 1999, he was the first American with over $100 billion in assets.
11. Microsoft acquired a lot of companies
In its 34 years history, Microsoft acquired nearly 150 companies including Hotmail and Nokia.
12. Bill Gates is a knight
The Queen of England honored him with this title in 2005, for his outstanding career and for his many generous donations.
13. Microsoft paid a lot of cash for Skype
Their biggest acquisition is without a doubt Skype. They paid $8.5 billion for it. Now imagine how much money they make, if they afforded to spend that kind of cash, and not go bankrupt.
14. Bill Gates signed a “Giving Pledge”
Alongside Warren Buffet and Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates signed a “Giving Pledge” promising to donated half of their money to charity.
15. Bill Gates was assigned to create the school’s computer program
Of course, he made a code that he would be put in classes with all the interesting girls. Because why now?
