These vintage shoots Playboy models are posing next to expensive cars and are here to remind us that we don’t need naked girls.

They are a reminder of what Playboy was before, and now that they’ve decided to not post nudes anymore, I’m thinking that they want to go back on before.

What do you think?

Called the Playmate of the Year, this edition came every year since 1964. The Playmate of the Year gets and poses with a new vehicle as part of her prize.

In 1953, Playboy launched, the same year as the Corvette and hydrogen bomb, its first magazine.

And as I said, starting with March 2016, it will re-launch as a non-nude publication.

The models plus the cars are just a proof that the magazine was successful in the past too, and that nipples aren’t a necessary ingredient and that cars are eternally awesome.

All this because back in the ‘60s and ‘70s people didn’t have video games in their pockets and not get the luxury to browse internet from the comfort of their computers, which is why they had Playboy.

Industry saved a lot of money while Playboy made more. Back then they would read the magazine for the articles and ideas, especially for those sexy ideas.

Despite that years kept looking devilishly sexy Playmates with pink cars.

Back then, the cars were the choice of a millionaire, and Porsche became an important piece in Playboy magazine, especially the 928 Coupe.

We have gathered pictures from 1966 for example, when a special issue of Playboy featured stories by Roald Dahl, but tucked between the pages was Allison Parks, who then appeared in many TV commercials.

The car featured there was a two door, four bucket seats and hideaway headlights Dodge.

Then model Connie Kreski received the 1969 Playmate of the Year, which was a Schwinn Varsity 10-speed, a Harley-Davidson, a pool cue, this delightful Shelby Mustang GT500.

The examples were many, which is why we gathered as many as we could for you.
