Lately we’ve seen a lot of expensive cars getting destroyed and we can’t believe how someone can ruin such a masterpiece.
But people keep getting super cars destroyed and we can’t understand the reasons.
Another incident caught our eye when we stumbled across a video from Taiwan showing a Lamborghini Murcielago getting destroyed.
The car, which was imported to the Chinese independent state illegally, got destroyed by the Taiwan police.
They had carried out a public destruction of the illegally imported car.
The model of the car is an early one fitted with a Premier4509 bodykit. With a lot of people witnessing the scene, police proceeds to destroy the Italian supercar with a metal claw.
The damage begins to show the custom Italian colored seats in the ugliest way.
The car was impounded by the Taiwanese authorities because of its lack of license plates. In fact, according to the registration, the car was not a Lamborghini, but a $22,000 Ford sedan.
After that it was seized when the owner, a Mr. Lin drove it on the public highways back in 2013.
Mr Lin lodged multiple appeals to his conviction in an attempt to avoid the destruction of the vehicle. Because it reached the end of the appeal procedure, the authorities transferred the impounded car to Taichung City’s Taiping District.
Not even a half hour argument with the owner’s representatives could save the car from its cruel fate.
It took the wrecking crew two hours to destroy the car because of complications with the equipment.
In order to prevent the car’s parts from being sold illegally on the black market, police decided their only option was to destroy the gorgeous supercar.
And as a warning to other potential registration violators, the cops filmed the car’s entire destruction.
So, in the end wasn’t destroyed by the police because they felt like it, like you believed the first time you read the title. But it was destroyed because the owner has broken the rules of the game.
With all that being known, it is still sad to see such beautiful car getting destroyed in such a way.
