1. Regent Seven Seas World Cruise 2027: $839,999 per person
Regent’s 140-night voyage on Seven Seas Splendor leaves Miami on January 11, 2027 and ends in New York on June 1. It visits 40 countries and 71 ports across six continents, with 14 overnight stays and 73 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The company called it possibly the most expensive commercial cruise ever when sales opened in April 2024.
The Regent Suite is the reason. It covers 4,443 square feet with a 1,300 square foot wraparound veranda, an in-suite spa with a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, a butler, a personal car and driver in every port, original Picasso artwork and a Steinway piano. The bed alone is valued at over $200,000. Fares start at $91,499 per guest in a Veranda Suite, so the same ship spans a roughly nine-fold range. A shorter 126-night Miami to Rome version runs from $84,999 to $755,999.
The fare includes first-class flights, 486 shore excursions, premium drinks, specialty dining, Wi-Fi and unlimited laundry.

2. Silversea World Cruise 2027: $568,400 per person
Silversea’s 149-day cruise on Silver Dawn departs Los Angeles on January 8, 2027 and ends in Copenhagen. It calls at about 80 destinations in 35 countries, with 11 overnight stays and 50 UNESCO sites. The two-bedroom Owner’s Suite is $568,400 per person, which works out at about $3,800 a night by our math. The cheapest Vista suite, with no balcony and business class flights included, is $134,400.

How the rest of the world cruises compare
Other lines advertise “from” prices for 2027 world cruises that are far lower, and most do not publish a top suite fare. Reported starting fares per person include about £13,199 for Cunard’s 109-night Queen Victoria voyage, about £60,690 for Viking’s 170-day voyage, and from about $104,000 for Oceania’s 244-day voyage. Those are entry cabins, not the top of the ship, so they do not compete with the table above.
Records set in 2025 and 2026
The Regent fare is the 2024 announcement for a 2027 sailing, and it remains the highest per-person fare we found. The Silversea Owner’s Suite fare is the closest rival.

- Days at sea. Both cruises run four to five months, so the fare buys 140 to 149 nights of suite living.
- Inclusions. Flights, excursions, drinks and laundry are in the fare.
- Ship size. Small ships with few suites make the top cabin rare: the Regent Suite is one of 373 suites on the ship.
- The suite itself. At 4,443 square feet it is larger than most homes.
