Choosing a big, heavy print might look overwhelming on a petite figure, so try to go for solid colours, or small prints. You don’t want to seem like the dress is wearing you, instead of you wearing it, right?
Also, if you want to elongate your figure, wear the long dress with a pair of high heels or wedge sandals, to add some extra length to your body. You can tie up your hair in a bun or pony tail, so you will give the impression of a longer neck.
As you can see, there are a lot of tips and tricks that can make a no item into a definite yes, so don’t be scared to try on “forbidden” clothes, they might look amazing!
