This $367 million jet will soon become the next Air Force One!

If you didn’t know, the Air Force One is the plane that the President of United States uses. The President’s current jet is a Boeing 747-200B that can refuel in midair.

The jet has in excess of 4,000 square feet on three levels, and includes an office, a conference room, medical suite, two galleys capable of feeding 100 people.

But the Air Force believes that the President needs a new plane, a better one. So they are spending $367 million, that before upgrades, on a Boeing 747-8.

Having 4,786 square foot, this Boeing is the longest and second largest airplane ever built.

This ‘bird’ is able to fly 8,000 nautical miles at a clip. The guys from Business Insider named the plane a “palace in the sky”, and they were right.
