20 Best Bar Designs In The World | Part 2

Best Bar Designs In The World | Part 2

After presenting you the first 10 best bar designs in the world, it’s time for the next 10, right?

As said in the previous article, these bars have the most awesome designs that will offer you an amazing experience.

They are created by inventive designers, who surely know what true art is. They are not the usual plain bars and restaurants that have no attitude and no personal touch.

These bars are either themed, or just have awesome art-work.

So let’s take a look at the next most awesome bar designs in the world and be amazed!

11.Rocambolesc Cafe, Girona, Spain

Today’s journey takes us first to Spain, in Girona, where Rocambolesc gelateria is based.

Rocambolesc started when Jordi Roca wanted to bring back the traditional dessert trolley. The Roca brothers first started strolling around the streets with the petit four trolley, but they decided to open up an ice cream shop instead.

The ice creams are made with natural products, and you have no less than 34 toppings to choose from. Rocambolesc looks like a paradise place where you can enjoy a delicious ice cream, while feeling like you are in a magical world. The design is very colourful and playful, and has a vintage look inspired by the World of Willy Wonka.

#12 has suspended tables!

NEXT: #12 Bangalore Express Restaurant, London

12.Bangalore Express Restaurant, London, Great Britain

The next restaurant on our list is the Bangalore Express Restaurant, in London, UK.

The London-based restaurant offers different ranges of food, from Indian tapas, to lunch boxes, and pick-and-mix main courses.

The Indian-inspired restaurant has a labyrinthine ground floor, with suspended tables and a very modern, innovative look.

The great design is very young and fresh, with perfectly chosen colours and simple furniture. The waiters surely don’t have a lot of fun while trying to get to the top tables on a ladder, right?

The second floor is more luxurious, and select, you know, for the fancy people.

Food was very good and tasted authentically Indian.

Auriga has a dramatic architecture and offers an exciting entertainment experience. The lounge can accommodate 250 people on the ground level, while the outside cafe 30 people.

The sculptural design of the restaurant is simply brilliant, Auriga becoming a colourful glowing place at night. The modern silver triangular metal louvres are backlit to give you an unique dining experience.

NEXT: #14 Ammo Restaurant, Hong Kong

14.Ammo Restaurant, Hong Kong, China

The 14th spot on the list of best bar designs in the world is occupied by Ammo Restaurant.

Based in Hong Kong, China, the restaurant and bar offers a cross-cultural blend menu that includes both Asian and Mediterranean dishes.

Ammo’s design is inspired from the historical, architectural and cultural significance of its location. As the name says (ammo is the slang for ammunition), the restaurant is deeply rooted into its history. The bar was a former explosives magazine compound created by the British army in the mid-19th century.

Well the place surely looks a bit “dangerous”, and edgy, doesn’t it?

The team behind this mind-blowing designed restaurant is formed of restaurateur Tony Cheng and his mentor chef Roland Schuller.

They envisioned the restaurant as a simple, yet elegant place to wine and dine, with affordable prices.

Hidden gem. Excellent food, great ambience and reasonably priced.

#15 is simply delicious!

NEXT: #15 Chocolate Bar, Opole

15.Chocolate Bar, Opole, Poland

For those who have the sweet tooth, there can’t be anything better than the Chocolate Bar.

Based in Opole, Poland, the Chocolate Bar is a small 30 square meter bar, with a very interesting design. At first glance, it seems like a lot of work and architectural design was put into it, but just as its designers would say,

The chocolate melting on the walls is the only embellishment of the room

But that is not the only smart thing in the Chocolate Bar. As you can notice, the milk drops hanging from the ceiling are intelligent hidden lamps.

The small bar has an extra expansion in the form of a mezzanine, which allowed the owners to fit some extra seating areas. The bar offers a nicely designed simplicity that is very eye-catching and in the same time, cute.

NEXT: #16 Acuarela, Bucharest

16.Acuarela, Bucharest, Romania

Our next stop is in Bucharest, Romania, where Acuarela, one of the bars with the best designs in the world, is based.

The old house-bar is a real artwork, having a colourful and artistic design. From tiny tables, to brightly coloured chairs and comfy hammocks, all kinds of vintage items found their perfect place at Acuarela.

Outside on the terrace, a friendly open space with umbrellas hanging on top is waiting for you to drink your coffee in.

In this bar, even the toilet is a work of art, being called “Project Atelier” and having a bookshelf, a phone, a bucket used as a sink, and other little details that give this place a bohemian look.

At Acuarela (meaning water colour in Romanian), you will find, of course, a lot of paintings and creative objects of art. This definitely is a mix of artsy cool things, so don’t forget to visit Acuarela next time you’re in Bucharest, for an unique experience!

#17 is full of colour!

NEXT: #17 Pakta Restaurant, Barcelona

17.Pakta Restaurant, Barcelona, Spain

The next bar with one of the most interesting designs is Pakta, in Barcelona, Spain.

The rather small restaurant has just 32 seats, but with an awesome design, it knows how to make use of the whole space. The furnishings reflect a Japanese feeling through the minimalistic wood, and the Peruvian happiness through the brightly coloured yarn spools.

The two cultures fusion is perfectly balanced, with a Japanese-inspired sushi bar and the Peruvian explosion of colours.

Pakta Restaurant is definitely an intriguing and interesting place to enjoy a two-cultural food when visiting Spain!

Ready to feel electric? ->

NEXT: #18 Electric Bar, Paris

18.Electric Bar, Paris, France

Based in Paris, France, Electric Bar is the number 18 in our list of 20 best bar designs in the world.

Electric is a mix of art, music, fashion and sport, all together in a huge space of 1000 square meter, which boasts an impressive panorama over Paris.

The bar has lighting projectors and cables hang from the spindly branches of chunky black trees. During day, Electric is a chilled lounge, with seating areas made out of sofas and trunk-shaped tools. During night, the bar turns into a great club, the music venue having soundproof music rooms, an outdoor terrace and a dance floor facing out over the city skyline.

Electric has different levels and zones, with faceted windows and diagonal panels that give texture to the walls.

This hip place is the perfect place for the party lovers.

#19’s design is mind-blowing!

NEXT: #19 Blue Frog Lounge, Mumbai

19.Blue Frog Lounge, Mumbai, India

Welcome to the Blue Frog Lounge, located in Mumbai, India!

The Blue Frog is a revolutionary music project, which consists of the country’s première live music performance club.

With an out-of-the-ordinary structure, this bar has different-sized booths that seat between 4 and 10 people. The booths are arranged at different levels, so the whole space will have a multidimensional look, and the viewers will have good views of the stage.

An old warehouse, the Blue Frog is used both as a music venue, and a place to wine and dine, and includes a theatre, a restaurant, a bar and a club, all in one!

I would say this place is an eclectic mix of good food, drinks and music.

Wine and dine in a museum-like restaurant! ->

NEXT: #20 Le Pain Frances Restaurant, Gothenburg

20.Le Pain Frances Restaurant, Gothenburg, Sweden

Our last but not the least in the top world’s best bar designs is Le Pain Frances Restaurant.

Located in Gothenburg, Sweden, this luxurious restaurant looks like a fancy, colourful museum in which you can enjoy a good meal.

The interior is amazingly glamorous and sophisticated, but it keeps its cosiness as well. Le Pain Frances is like a little (well not so little) French restaurant in the middle of Sweden. The food is excellent, having that French touch.

This place is fantastic, all from the interior to the food. The service was very good and very cosy place to hang at during the late night
