Best Homes in Game of Thrones | TOP 10

N1. WINTERFELL- THE NORTH

The ancient seat of the Starks is the first castle we have a tendency to see on Game of Thrones, and it’s brilliant. Designed quite 8,000 years before the beginning of the series, Winterfell sits on the sting of the Kingsroad, the main road that connects the northern and southern regions of Westeros.

Winterfell consists of 2 concentric walls and an oversized village situated simply outside the castle itself. A 10,000 year-old non-public forest sits outside the castle’s courtyards, home to the charming weird trees on which the North’s old faith is based.

The castle is heated by natural hot springs underneath the entire advanced, which permits Winterfell’s walls and walkways to stay warm even throughout the long winters, when dozens of feet of snow will fall. An oversized greenhouse inside the castle’s walls permits food to grow in spite of the season.

Underneath the castle are the crypts, which have the remains of deceased Starks of infinite generations. Considerably, the crypts below Winterfell are home to the bones of Lyanna Stark, Ned’s sister, whose controversial “abduction” by blue blood Rhaegar Targaryen spurred Robert’s Rebellion and launched the plot of the entire series.

Whose castle is your favorite? Which one would you buy if you could?
