At 132 Queens Quay E. you’ll find the best nightclub in Toronto. The Guvernment is a nightclub complex opened in 1996.
Best known for its annual ‘full-complex’ events, this venue was voted #8 nightclub in the world in DJMag’s Top 100 Clubs of 2008.

The place hosted many notable artists like Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Deadmau5, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold and Markus Schulz (who in 2009, he released a compilation album, ‘Toronto 09’, which reflected on his affection towards the nightclub).
Among other performances are included Rancid, The Prodigy, Nine Inch Nails, Lady Gaga, Bob Dylan, My Chemical Romance, Arctic Monkeys, Wolfmother, Kings of Leon, Nas, Pink, Katy Perry and Paramore.
