The best nightclub in the capital of U.S., where you can party until the sun comes up, is 9:30 Club, located at 815 V St NW.
It originally opened in 1980 at 930 F St. NW in downtown Washington. 9:30 is co-owned by Seth Hurwitz and Rich Heinecke and has a capacity of 1200 people.
From 2007 until 2012, 9:30 won the Top Clubs award through Billboard Touring Awards.
As some reviewers have said, 9:30 is ‘by far the best place in D.C. to watch live music in a closed space‘.
And we have to agree. The nightclub hosted tons of live concerts like The Smashing Pumpkins, Snow Patrol and Empire of the Sun.
