7. Pearl Jam – Ten | 13 Million Copies
Formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1990, the number 7 on our top 10 is an American rock band.
Their first album, “Ten”, was not an immediate success, but it had reached number two on the Billboard 200 chart by late 1992.
And at that time, While Pearl Jam was accused of jumping on the grunge bandwagon.
The album was instrumental in popularizing alternative rock in the mainstream, and in February 2013, the album sold in over 10 million copies, being certified 13x platinum by the RIAA.
And even now, “Ten” still is Pearl Jam’s most commercially successful album.
