5.Bill Murray – Garfield
One of the biggest celebrity regrets is, as you already saw, playing in certain movies.
And Bill Murray is on of those celebs. The famous actor seems like he regrets being the voice of Garfield, him accepting to do it because he thought that his idol, Joel Coen was the script-writer.
Murray later on found out that he misunderstood, but too late for that. In 2009 when the actor played himself in Zombieland, he was asked if he has any regrets during a scene, and he said “Garfield, maybe”.
Even though the movie made over $200 million, and Murray (surprisingly) accepted to be the cat’s voice in the sequel, his statements for GQ are not so positive:
“Finally I went out to L.A. to record my lines… and the lines got worse and worse. And I said, ‘Okay, you better show me the whole rest of the movie, so we can see what we’re dealing with.’ So I sat down and watched the whole thing, and I kept saying, ‘Who the hell cut this thing? Who did this? What the f**k was Coen thinking? And then they explained it to me: it wasn’t written by Joel Coen.”
Well, that is just bad luck, Murray.
