Because of the nature of its placement, the fact that the city has numerous investors who came and set business in the metropolitan area of the city, the people here gamble allot.
Major companies built up headquarters here and offered jobs to the people, but the main thing that boosted the revenue from casino gambling was the fact that the city has an urban renewal program which helps everybody develop.
With free time on their hands, and big money coming from the companies that they work for, people found it hard not to gamble, making St. Louis a place where casinos make $1,1 billion in revenue.
