Connecticut
If by now we talked about small cities, grouped counties, or areas which have big revenues from gambling activity, for our number 5 we talk about an entire state.
Being the third smallest state in America, we couldn’t find a specific city that has a big revenue coming from gambling and casinos, but we managed to discover that being close to other states, it’s a paradise for vacation and weekend trips.
So while the state is a part of the Tri-State area with New York and New Jersey, it has most of its counties considered part of the metropolitan area of New York.
Basically the state makes $1,23 billion in revenue from gambling due to the fact that the big casino brands started business here and considered the state a place where most of New Yorkers come and get their freak on over the weekend in trips and vacation where entertainment and games are the main things to do.
