8. Christmas Melting Snowman Cookies
Forget about the ordinary snowman cookies. Show your guests you have a funny imagination, by making these melting snowman cookies.
Ingredients:
1) large marshmallows;
2) royal icing;
3) icing colors ;
4) mini chocolate chips or other little candy pieces you could use for buttons;
5) parchment paper;
6) shortening (butter or other fat).
After your icing is made and your cookies have cooled, place them on parchment paper and let’s get started!
Spoon a small puddle of icing onto your cookie and, using the back of a spoon or a knife, spread it around making sure to go right to the edges in some spots so he looks drippy.
Then grease a plate or silicone mat with shortening and place some marshmallows on the mat, spaced out.
Place the mixture into the microwave for 20 seconds and as they start to puff up, you are ready for your next step. Don’t let them melt! You just want them to puff!
Grease your fingers and pick up one marshmallow at a time and you can now decorate them as you please.
